MYK is pleased to announce the opening of our new headquarters in Neuchatel, Switzerland. Our Swiss Head Quarter will be located at Cave du Palais at Rue des Terreaux 9, 2000 Neuchatel. The office is due to open in the Autumn of 2015.
Cave du Palais is a historically significant and quintessential building in Neuchatel. It was constructed in the early 18th century, initially as a storage cellar for grains for the city. It was later purchased by Mathius Hipp, one of the first electrical clock makers in Switzerland, in the mid 19th century. The clock displayed in the building currently is an original clock produced by Hipp. The building was later purchased by Henri Schelling, the local wine maker, for the storage of wine.
